[DEV] [ROM] CM10 JellyBean 4.1.1 Development Thread

    NOTICE - - NOTICE - - NOTICE

Discussion for the release of CM10 has been shifted over to a new thread created by pio_masaki located here at http://www.thriveforums.org/forum/toshiba-thrive-development/15808-all-inclusive-cm10-general-thread.html.

While work on getting everything setup in that thread is on-going, it's meant to be the one-stop shop for everything needed for this release and will have a less developer-oriented layout, meaning that suggestions, bug reports, etc., will be accepted more graciously there since they won't cloud the collaboration process like they do here. Pio is working hard to get the general guidelines up, including guides for installation, usage, various tips, tricks, FAQs, working apps/hardware, everything not directly related to the CM10 Unified project. Please feel free to go ahead and post any NON-development related content there. Feel free to post any comments, advice, tips, questions, etc., and do so without fear of being flamed, labeled as a noob, or being ignored

Also, before posting to the new thread, be sure to read the Wiki Instructions set up specifically for this release. The Wiki can be found here at http://www.alltechtalk.net/ThriveCM10/index.php?title=Main_Page.

The developers working on this project asked that this post be updated to provide a link to the release thread, but the original content of this post is contained below, so nothing has been lost.

    Cheers, Dave

Same here. I am more than happy to help test. I truly wish I could help with development but my *nix days are from 20 years ago, so I'm sure I would be more overhead than value.

I am however a career developer so am very clued in on the concepts and proper etiquette. Only things I would need working are touchscreen and wifi.

Touchscreen works. No wifi yet, but that hopefully won't take much longer.

Not that I'm going to be all "XDA" on you - but it means that this thread is put in place for developers to collaborate and share information in regards to the JB port. Right now, it's only tybar and myself working on it so it's not so much of an issue - but if there are more people, questions and posts such as these will make it more difficult for dev's to find the information - resulting in you having to wait longer for an actual ROM.

    tybar,

I grabbed the source and built it. I noticed that external storage isn't mounting and some settings are causing the settings app to crash. I'm going to take a look at these while you work on WiFi

    HeWhoWas,

I am also working on it. I don't mean to sound like a jerk about it, but I volunteered to help before the repos came online.

I'll let you guys know what I come up with.
