It was essentially adding a working audio HAL library. This library will be implemented in all builds from here on out.

Just hold tight. A new build is being compiled.

What the KAT fix was doing was copying over a working version of the audio HAL library, the one we were building with CM10 didn't work. Since I can't find the source for the library we just integrated it into our build and stopped building a broken one.
Did you just start compiling? Sorry, can't wait to get the new build....lol

Edit....just saw the post above mine... I should've been a little more patient there... but a couple questions, will this be like pios build with ram usage on recent apps and no rotate lock switch or like jbettchers?

Already got it figured out, uploading an updated rom with fixes. You still might have to download a third party mixer to up the volumes. But I can confirm the internal mic works with google search and the headphones work.
Running CM10 - Special thanks to the other devs.

It will be jbettchers' rom with the new audio fixes.

    Updated ROM:

Just a note guys you might want to use the KAT utility to modify the mixer settings then uninstall, but other third party mixers that are less intrusive will work as well to adjust different volume levels.

However thanks for taking the time to log and post it, it'll prove to help I'm sure as even between builds errors are errors lol
That logcat was with a wipe-data - it was the second boot.
I'll run the test again after I download the latest build (tonight probably).

Well, I can confirm screenshot works perfectly. And manually editing /sys/device/leds-gpio/leds/RF_LED/brightness works (same dir as before, whoops). 1 on, 0 off.

What's strange is, JB is running better than ICS, which was running better than HC. Good job all!

Are you "thriving" for Ubuntu, and/or a Tegra 2 expert? I need your help! I've hit developer's block!

pio_masaki is working on a new build at the moment with the fixes that have been committed to tybar's build trees, plus his modifications for the ram usage and the software rotation lock.
Eventually we'll be working towards a unified build to clear up this issues, we are all committing changes back into tybar's sources once fixes are confirmed working and stable. Right now it's messy because of the fast pace of all the fixes and changes.

By changing to 1, it will always be on even if the wifi is off.
