Full wipe factory reset wipe dalvik and system, flash ROM then flash gapps. How to do it differs on cwm or twrp, but updating them would be a good idea as well. I haven't seen a camera connection issue since way before U1.

    Sorry about my delayed update.
Flashing did not solve the camera issue.

But... By mistake i let my Thrives battery run dry. When connected to AC power i started my Thrive and now camera works again.

I apologize for not trying that before writing here. Thanks for Your help.

    Update: Unified CM10 Build 5

Those on U1-4 with Goo Manager likely already got notified, U5 is live.

    Changelog:

Updated Auto Brightness - no more errors & brighter low end, should dim and brighten as normal. If it doesn't appear to be doing anything at first, I can assure you it is, there are tons of levels in there, and each is very slightly brighter, best way to see it is point it at the window then put it under something, you'll see it changing.

    Dock Settings added to Settings.

    Added kernel side memory management.

Added init.d script to work alongside the kernel memory management.

    Updated to Balthesaur 2.74 - 400/450 2D/3D

    Concerning dock audio:

This single thing pushed release back a week. At this point I've about given up on it, I don't have a dock and really building a ROM to try one change and then uploading for testing is getting extremely tiresome. For now, reports are if you reboot the thrive while in the dock the the dock audio headphone jack will work. Otherwise I suggest using the thrive's headphone jack which is like 3 inches away instead. Reports are also showing if you dirty flash U5 over U4 there is a chance dock audio will actually work with only a restart of the app using audio at the time, no reboot needed. I can't confirm or deny this as I can't personally test it.

Unless something major comes up, or some of the team returns, U5 may be the final build. I'm still looking at dock audio a little bit and some more kernel work, however the kernel work will not require an entire ROM and will likely be released on it's own. Any further Unified builds are more likely to be updates vs big fixes.

I went from ICS (dalep) to U4 and everything is fine, but when I try to go to U5, I'm having an issue in that my sdcard is now the internal sdcard and the actual sd card I'm using is sdcard2. How do I upgrade to U5 now? When I go into recovery (CWM), I'm told that it can't mount the sdcard. Do I need to go back to ICS before I'm able to switch to U5? Should I hold off on U5 and wait until you have the 10.1 working? (<G>)

Well that's a first, I would suggest redownload U5 full wipe and try again, there's no reason that should occur unless something was done to cause it, the wipe should clear it out.

Pardon my stupid questions.... If I wipe the Davlik, Cache and Data, do I need to reboot to see the sdcard mounted in the right place?

I just re read, internal SD is /sdcard and external is /sdcard2 so its working normally.

If you wipe you do need to boot into android to see any difference. Wiping will not affect cwm, though, so any issue in cwm will likely remain. Which SD are you trying to mount and flash from?

You do not need to go back to ICS to flash cm10.
