thats what he says, plug in his stuff into your system.ui.

Did you get the widgets to work? Nano King, I didnt get the media player or the email one to work.

No I couldn't get it to work. How did you port it... did you use the HC ICS or the one that came on the page on how to port....

followed the guy's posted directions. Use systemui and framework-res from ics rom. copy his folders over. Got the time and pulse one to work. But saw you were working on this so I decided not to work on it anymore plus I didn't like the look of it.

Sorry for being noob, but I don't really understand most of the stuff you guys said. LOL

So it means that I cannot directly flash the theme using the step the author posted?

if you follow exactly what he says on the "port your own one" yes. Basically you need to have dalepl's ICS, 7zip, and the metro-ui theme. then you follow the directions, soooo take the systemui.apk and framework-res.apk from dalepl ICS and put that into the metro zip folder. (i would name it something else than update... thats just me)
then copy the folders into the apk's that you just copied into the zip. 7zip works pretty well, winrar wasn't as nice on my end.

Then you are good to go. so yeah, follow his directions and easy as pie. Dont forget to do a backup!

Thanks for the detailed explanation bro! Will try later.

BTW, have you tried the metro theme yourself? Can you share your opinion?

even better I will share the compiled zip. Metro -UI

Sadly all it really does is change the few notification icons, then add a few widgets. I didnt look for an ADW launcher theme, with that it might look better, I didn't get the email widget to work but I did not play with it to much.

    Wow! You are the man!!!

So you are saying that the Metro tile UI is only for ADW theme? How about Apex?
