I looking through my Pulse tonight and saw this little bit of information. Looks pretty nice, in my opinion, but what do you guys think? Improvement or downgrade?

Nice. This will fill the gap for those that do not want a large tablet.

Nice tablet. Good to see they are keeping the models coming. The more android tabs the better, attracts more developers. I like my larger model w/ all the bells and whistles. Maybe we can pull 3.2 from the 7 inch to use on ours, reapply our drivers? But ICS is probably worth waiting for instead.

Again...they removed the replaceable battery, full size usb and SD slot but hey it's much smaller / lighter. Thank goodness people have yet another option that isn't so thick and heavy!![]()
I still favor what I have.
Tapatalk and Toshiba Thrive.
Happy Thrive user running CM10 Jellybean.

Ahhh...I have joined the ROOTED side of the Force...
If my wife let me use her small handbag, this would be perfect.... Just kidding. I started my Android (and tablet) adventure with the original Samsung Galaxy Tab (which I still have --- thankfully since my THRiVE is trucking to the repair depot). The 7" was "usable", and the small form factor is excellent. However, for 70-80% of what I use my THRiVE for, 7" is just too small. It's perfect for eBooks, quick checks on my e-mail, calendar, etc.
I almost think an 8.9" might have been a better size --- you know just like Goldilocks --- not too small and not too big, just right....
Oh! Nice! I still want the sony S1....
