    proxy server help please

    At my job we have a pass word to get onto the wifi but we also have proxy settings. I cannot figure out how to put the proxy settings into my thrive so that I can use the internet. I have the wireless network password saved and it connects instantly I just connot figure out how to add the proxy settings so that I can actually go on the internet. PLease help

    I haven't tried myself but I think Thrive is capable of handling proxy server settings through a hidden function with the following procedures:

    Thanks for that link. When travelling, I occasionally need to use proxy settings to get into my company network and was afraid I would have to do without on my Thrive.,

    You can also attach a proxy to a single network very easily. This works on mine (rooted, Honeybaked ROM with Shive Kernel) but I can not say if it works on all ROMs.

    1) Hold your finger on the network you want to add a proxy to.
    2) Select Modify Network
    3) Next to Proxy settings, click where it says None and select Manual
    4) Fill in hostname and port and click save.
