Depends on what we man by accesses... TeamViewer can remote to other networks. There are other programs/apps that allow file transfer over http. Splastop can remote to other networks, if the PC is registered with Google. What exactly are we trying to accomplish?
Found my signature file, but it appears to be empty...
I actually thought the question was pretty clear. The OP says he can access files on the computer from the tablet. He wants to access files on the tablet from the computer.
ES File Explorer will allow you to move files from the tablet to the computer (and vice versa), but that's not the same thing as pulling up a file manager on the computer and seeing all the files on the tablet using your network. Of course if you use a wired connection between the two, the tablet or phone can become a removable drive of the computer and then it's easy (in theory -- lots of problems doing this with many devices).
I thought it was pretty clear that the OP wanted to see the files on the Thrive from the pc, that is why I recommended the app I mentioned. I think what is not clear is where the OP wants to have the access on the pc from, is it from the same network the Thrive is on, or is it from another network outside, like having the Thrive at home and accessing from work. Until the OP makes that part clear, they will get several types of options.
