Yes that is it. Works GREAT. About the most reliable one I tested. and the best price. go for it!

EDIT: 2/2/12 Apparently the ebay vendor did not ship the same item he advertised - the model he shipped (SY-ADA24001) does not work with the Thrive.

    Hallo

    A job well done!
I really appreciate the effort and information that is provided and available here.
It supports me a lot to get a better understanding and added value from the Thrive. Thank you!

In preparation for the two adapters which should be in my mailbox shortly, one question to the TCP/IP configuration.

If a connection between the Thrive and a working USB-to-RJ45 adapter is established (without additional drivers), is that a DHCP connection only or is there somehow a possibility to enter a private network configuration (ip-address for the Thrive, router-ip etc.)?

    Thx Robu

your router just assigns a DHCP, just like any PC you wire into the router. simple. you dont have to do any configuring. just turn off the wifi on the thrive, and don't plug in the usb until the thrive is all booted up. if you find you get "stuttering" for example watching streaming movies, you may want to modify your router settings to give the thrive highest priority.
