    My Toshiba Thrive says it's connected to wifi, but browser won't load.

    Hello, my Toshiba Thrive says it's connected to wifi, however the wifi signal is grey instead of blue, and whenever i go on browser or any app that needs wifi to run, it says that it cannot connect.
    A guy that worked with Frontier came by my house and did something to fix my computer, because the internet wasn't working on it, but now the internet on my computer is fine.
    This has been happening with my tablet for a few days, and before it was working fine.
    I can only play simple games, and i'd really like to get back to watching youtube and going on the internet.

    Reset your WiFi router, and reboot the tablet. Let us know if it keeps acting up.

    Also make sure the tablet is not getting an IP already signed to something already on the network.

    I've tried this a few times, and it still stays the same. It acts up the same, and i'm wondering if it's something with the router. I have a Netgear 7550 ADSL, it's a modem and router combined. Thanks!

    Have you told the Thrive to forget the connection and then go back in and reestablish a new connection?

    Settings -> WiFi -> Menu -> Advanced -- this will display the IP assigned to the tablet. Login to your router and verify that this IP is not also used by another device on your network.

    It says :
    MAC address- 74:2F:68:5C:5A:7D
    IP address- 192.168.2.1

    Is there anything wrong with this?

    Not a matter of right or wrong.
    As Mc2k said, you want to check all of the other devices on your network to ascertain that they're not assigned the same address.
    Do that by logging into your router and checking.
