    Volume Issues

Hi everyone. I've compared my Thrive with my old G-Tablet, which was rooted with Honeycomb 3.0. I love the Thrive, but have noticed that it has some serious issues with speaker/headphone volume. I loaded a few volume boosters on it (Volume+ didn't work good but Volume Boost did SOME), but really haven't gotten any decent results. Audio Booster requires root access, which I don't have.

And yes, I have checked the option for boosting volume under "Settings".

Is anyone else having the same problem and have you found a work-around? My guess is that there will be a software update later that might fix it.

Also, the speakers appear to be really tinny sounding.

    Low Headphone Volume

The headphone volume is very low on my Thrive, I am using Klipsch S2 earbuds (106 dbm) and I am not be able to decently hear movies or audio. The speakers are loud enough but the earbuds are too quiet. The earbuds are quite loud in any other mp3 player, etc. I wonder if I have a bad Thrive or this is normal. Any comments from others would be greatly appreciated.

Ditto - I can not hear using any headphone and can barely hear using speakers. Surely, there is something wrong with my speakers...

There is another thread on this. I believe you need to go into your settings and turn some things on. I have not tested mine since I did so. Do a search and you should find it.

Same headphones here. What seemed to work for me was to turn off the Toshiba enhancement settings when using headphones.
