    Volume adjustment

    Hi all,

I have had my thrive for several weeks now and am enjoying it very much. No real problems except when I am watching a netflix movie etc and need to adjust the volume. Is there any way to have a sound adjustment in the bottom bar so I do not need to leave the movie and go to a window with my sound applet on it ?

    thanks

Look just right of the light for wifi signal at the upper left with the Thrive in portait mode. there is a rocker switch that controls the Thrives volume.

One Piece of advise, Do not change the Default volume enhancement settings. This will blow your speakers off. My left speaker is not working anymore after changing the default settings - I increased the Turbo and Bass. Sigh! I'm now living without one of my speaker

Looks the sound output from some movies decodes is too high for the speaker to handle and it bursts it.

Thanks guys for you suggestions. I am aware of the rocker vol adjustment but find it rather awkward to use and was hoping for a more elegant software solution that would fit down in my lower status bar...well maybe soon.

As far as the person that blew a speaker you should return the unit for a replacement as that just should not happen. I find the external speakers extremely poor for anything other than as a notification sounds. They do not sound too bad for skype but can not imagine anyone using them for music.
