not very easily replaced, not impossible but not readily available retail.
    SanDisk/SDIN5C2-8G/Taiwan/1081S2Q1N2 is the 8 G you have.
SanDisk/SDIN5C2-16G is the 16G memory chip....... again not easily obtained or changed.

Also quite expensive. I'd just recommend a big SD if you've already bought the 8GB.

Does anyone know the P/N for the 32 GB?

Also will the TT reconize anything larger that 32 GB for internal memory?

I did find a SDIN5C2-32G-L for $55 from SDIN5C2-32G-L - SanDisk - SDIN5C2-32G-L,12X16BGA,OEM. I am considering trying to upgrade my girlfriends TT from 16 GB. She put alot of pic/videos/ and documents on hers.

I cheat and have a 1 TB usb drive that I use. Don't think i will fill that up anytime soon.

I suspect that if you ordered that part you would just get the chip, not the chip on the PC board. So you would still need to figure out how to remove/resolder the chip or clone the board.

The other issue would be that you'd probably need a copy of NVFlash and the factory image for the internal memory. You may not be able to "clone and expand" the 16G to a 32G .
All in all, the time, cost, and high chance of damaging the components involved would make it a better bet to sell the 16G one and pick up a refurbed 32G.
