    Usb mount and unmounted questions

    Hello
I am having problems mounting a usb stick after unmounting a stick. So far the only way I have been able to remount a stick is by powering down and rebooting. There must be a simpler way. Can anyone lend a hand?
    thanks for your help.

do you unmount it properly when your done, by going into the settings? I had that problem too when I first got the Thrive and I realized I needed to properly unmount my USB after I was done by going into the settings storage and going to the bottom and click unmount USB0

For me it's been hit or miss..... Usually miss.... Even when inserting a USB "stick" for the 1st time after booting up. Patience also helps as the system will sometimes try to scan the whole device before it will "mount" it to be seen in File Manager.

l'm pretty familiar with linux servers. So unmounting is second nature. After unmounting I can wait up to 30 min before giving up and rebooting. Is there an app or widget that works with thrive to provide mount?

Not that I have found. I do not know why some individuals like yourself have issues with mounting devices after an unmount. Mine works fine. I do sometimes have to wait a few minutes for it to mount the device, but usually no more than 5 mins.
