    Btw if you don't know where, take off the back cover and its the tiny blue circle. The battery is in there.

    where is the small battery?

    Take off the back cover and look at the back of the tt. You'll see tthe main battery. Then there's a blue circular thing. The small circular battery is in that.

    I had that happen to me once. I held down the power button for a VERY long time and it finally shut off. You might try holding down the power button for like 30-60 seconds. It had be in sleep mine hooked up to the charger all night long and was "frozen" in the morning...yes this is long after the sleep fix.

    Just a thought - did you root it, CWM it? install any ROM? If not and holding down on the power button for a very long time works then do install the root/CWM/ROM (32). It really sounds like a software issue plus your information needs to list everything step-by-step you try. Good luck as my Thrive is and has been awesome...and any issues were 'user' not going slow and following directions step-by-step, not saying you did not just trying to help...<grin>...
