Exclamation Boot Loop / and Other strange behavior.

Hello everyone! I've had my Thrive for about a month now.. Ive rooted about a week ago(Dj_Steve), and I've been having some issues since yesterday.. Started with my stock / original home launcher force closing every half hour.. then tonight some "LtoD" program started to FC back to back to back.. OF course I was worried and turned off my thrive.. but now I'm stuck at the boot animation loop.. Ive attempted to use clockwork recovery and compleated the factory reset, and cleared the other.. still resulting in the same reboot loop.. Does anyone have any pointers? maybe a solution?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You can also get dalepl's stock rooted rom and install that if you can get into CWM recovery and hopefully that will get you back to a regular Thrive.

Here is the thread to read and get it. http://www.thriveforums.org/forum/da...-0032-rom.html

I didn't backup the files correctly with some app.. but I'm able to run CWM Recovory.. I'm downloading the root files now =) Speaking of the Wifi, just a few min before I turned my tablet off I was noticing the wireless signal would randomly drop.. Weird lol

And thank you for helping me figure this out =)

Techelec... Rooting is not the cause of this. Others have ended up in a boot loop and have not been rooted. It is a chance you take when you try out custom ROMs, but it is recoverable.

I rooted because I suffered a boot loop while unrooted. Didn't want to be caught again without full backups.

Oh! Well, that explains that. It's still scary though....ROMs, Mods, Root, even the word sounds SCARY! I think I want to keep my warranty as it has proven useful...
