I need to return my Toshiba Thrive due to a problem, how do I restore it to factory defaults and make sure all my personal info and data are removed from the device before I return it? I can't find a restore button or info - thanks for any hyelp, Darlene

Settings / privacy / factory reset.

Sorry you're having the problem. Are you getting a replacement or refund?

You can wipe all the data on your tablet by going to settings>Privacy and then select "Factory Data Reset"

Sorry to see you go and that the FaceBook flash games didn't end up working well enough for you.

Going to get another one, I like it a lot, just not sure now whether to wait for the new one they are talking about or just get this Toshiba Thrive again - mine had a problem and that it why I am returning it.

The choice would have to be yours. The new one will be thinner and lighter, but probably vertually the same otherwise. It will depend on you and whether you want to retain the full size port and SD support or move to the micro stuff.

Out of curiosity, what is the problem you were having with it?

I really don't know, it was running very slow and would not really keep downloaded apps in memory or load things correctly - was a flaw and I am sure if I get another one it won't be like that.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your thrive I'm curious though, after the factory reset did you try it out and see if it was still acting up? I was thinking maybe the factory reset may have helped.
