    thrive 10" AT105

    Hi friends,

please help me I receive a thrive a few years ago is an AT105 10" Thrive Tablet.

I upgraded the OS to 4.0.4.08.000090513 a couple of years ago then the Tablet was put into a box . Now I want to use again but is very slow, applications crashes and the was unable to be used again.

what can I do? can I rollback to the OS before the upgrade? Is it is possible I will be in the past to download or use apps? there is a guide step by step to perform this downgrade?

    or

can I install another versión Android fully compatible with my Thrive 10" AT105 Tablet?

    please your comments,

    regards,

    Serba

Hello Serba, welcome to the forum! Android is known to slow down after a while. You can try a factory reset to see if that will help. Save your data first, because a factory reset will erase all data and installed apps.

Also, Toshiba's Android 4.0.4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is sometimes not stable. You can try using a United States version of 4.0.4, which is Toshiba's version but more stable. Our user dalepl took the Toshiba version, then improved it so it does work much better.

If you want to do that, first you want to use this tool that will "root" your Thrive, and also unlock the bootloader. You need to unlock the bootloader in order to install custom ROMs. Again, save your data first, because this tool will do a factory reset.

[Tool] DaleNet Thrive Univeral Easy Flash Tool

Then here is the U.S. version of Android 4.0.4.

[ROM] DaleNet IMM76D.01.000072314 Deodexed Stock Rooted ROM (US ICS 4.0.4)

If you want, you can try some of the Jelly Bean (4.1) ROMs that another user made. I like the Shinka B25 and still use it.

Hello all, I have Thrive - AT105-T1016 that will not go past the Toshiba Leading Innovation screen. I have already attempted wiping the cache in addition performing a factory reset within the recovery kernel. but no luck...

Is there anything I can do about it at this point? I'm perfectly fine with everything being wiped from the tablet.

    Thanks
