    Instructions referred to nvf.bat to be launched. However, nvf_enc.bat worked for me. Thank you for the support! Tablet is working fine again.

    Yep, reflashing went very quickly. Not sure where he got some of his files but it triggered false positives on my machine. Since I don't know him, I went ahead and reverted my VM to be on the safe side.

    They're official Toshiba files, and the ones that have been used since Day 1.
    Quite safe....
