I notice that yahoo mail displays in mobile version and cannot be changed to desktop version like yahoo home pages.
It comes up in desktop sometimes but changes to mobile right away. Does anyone know how to fix this problem. Also Yahoos site comes up in mobile version sometimes and desktop other times.

Why not just use an email client on your thrive rather than fighting with mail through the browser?
I use Kaiten Email for my IMAP email, and it works wonders over the stock client. But if you don't want to pay the $5 for the app, you can always use the stock email app for your Yahoo mail.
