    Restore from trash can

Is it possible to restore pictures from my trash can? On my gallery I accidently moved a folder to the trash can and now I cant figure out how to restore those pictures.

I'm sure the trash can icon symbolizes 'Deletion' and not move to a 'trash can'. If this the case then you may not be able to recover.

By anychance have you done a Nandroid backup?

    I don't use it.
There is no trashcan option with Android. The icon simply means delete. It may be possible to recover them if they were on an sd card using recovery software on a computer. I don't know of any Android app for this though.

Ah, but there is such an app, and as the name implies it requires root - Undelete for Root Users.

There are file recovery programs, but if can't restore the metadata, it does not work?

Technically, a long-press equates to right-click. No meds needed

I also need help on this. I tried the Undelete app from above suggestion, but the app can only scan the existing files on my phone. Then tried another app and follow this recovery tutorial to recover my deleted files.

It's possible the files can't be recovered, because the space was already used to store new files.
