remove favourites from youtube...how ?

Only had my thrive a couple of weeks...definitely not rooted..just straight out of the box...

this is the latest update from Google play.he has a difference version.is your version 3.5.5. I check amazon to see what version thay have.

I know things can get frustrating when they don't work as expected

I rarely ever use the YouTube app, because i forget there is one. I usually just go to the site via a browser on my Thrive. I don't have a playlist or channel or anything. I just go on there to watch videos now and then. Here is what is on my YouTube app:

On top top left there is a YouTube logo then Home Browse Account

On top right there is the magnifying glass with Search. then the microphone icon then the lined box with a dropdown menu with sign out, settings, help, feedback. I have to do something else right now but I will try later to save, then remove a video from favorites from the app and relate back my experience. The reason different people have different things showing on their app screens is probably reflective of our different levels of involvement with YouTube and the app. Halo, yours probably shows differently because you have set up a channel and playlists et cetera.

Sorry y'all, I didn't see the second page of the thread when I posted. My app screen is the same as Bobj except I have "account" instead of "your channel"

Channel view
Uploaded. <---- no numbers after those since I don't have any yet
Subscribers

Then below that is:

Subscriptions
Favorites
Watchlater.
Playlists <----again empty,as I haven't used
Uploads

I did add a vid to favorites...While video was playing I clicked the plus sign at top right area and got a drop down with option for watch later, favorites or new playlist. I chose favorites. What I haven't been able to do is find a way from within the app to remove the video from favorites. It reminds me of Gmail and why I started using it from the browser instead of the app. I could find no way to delete any mail. I could archive it, but NO way to delete!
