    Unhappy Toshiba Thrive Screen

I have my brand new Thrive and already it has scratches. It is like plastic is covering it and has been ripped.
All over my screen there all little mars that are bumpy. DOes it have groilla glass? i have read that it doesn't.
What is a good way to protect my screen and not decrease the quality?

You should not have scratches and bumps in the glass. Are you sure it does not have a plastic film on it? No, it does not have gorilla Glass, but it has a tough glass none the less. People have tested it with keys and not scratched it. As for additional protection, the Zagg shield is a good product to put on it. I do recommend paying Best Buy the $15.00 to install it. That way if they do not get it right, they have to replace it.

Thank you very much for that Zagg information. I will get one right away!

In addition to the lifetime warranty that Zagg offers, paying Best Buy to install not only guarantees it done right (they did fantastic job on mine in about 5 min.) But also guarantees free lifetime re-install should it ever be replaced by Zagg!

Did you remove the plastic sheet that covers the screen for shipping? It doesn't sound like you did. Just asking because you never did answer when dalepl asked.
