I hadn't paid attention that Titanium could not backup to my external SD card. I tried using this fix 3 different times and it still would not work for me. I'm rooted on .002.

I load it into the text editor of Root Explorer, making sure the folder is set to RW. I am finding the correct permission, then I hit enter to go down to the next line then space over to enter the new permission. I then save it and reboot.

Titanium still sees the drive R/O and I also lose my networking. I am connected to my router but none of my pages can load.

Appreciate any help someone can give me.

One quick question, do you have USB Debugging on? If not, maybe give that a try.

.002 - is that the same as what's in my sig?, If no, stop reading, otherwise,
If "this fix" refers to the commands in the first post, they have been incorporated by Paul into the 0002 image.

Here's what works for me - just did it to confirm and attempt to list every step:
    Root explorer - mnt/sdcard2 is r/w
    USB debugging is off
    Run Titanium
    Properties
    Navigate to Backup location
It shows my current location in internal sdcard (I normally just copy it out)
Press backarrow, in the left bottom corner, TWICE to take us to mnt
    Select sdcard2
TB now shows a green folder <<create new folder>> in the list
    click it and name it
    click Use the new folder
since I already had TB it asks if to move stuff, I replied NO for this trial
    TB builds the list
and then the backup of what I selected went to sdcard2.

When you are in Root explorer and long press on sdcard2, what does the grid of permissions show? Mine are
    blank blank blank
    check check check
    check blank check

When you run TB, does it initially flash a message that Supruser rights been granted?

can I ask how I can make the micro sd card stay in the slot? I have a week old T200 and am reading from the sd card as long as I keep it pressed into the slot using my finger, and if I remove the finger it pops out and I lose the connection. what am I missing ?

The card should seat firmly and stay seated until one presses it in deeper to release the 'latch'. You may not be inserting it deep enough to catch the latch. You may need to use a finger nail (or something small & thin) to push the card in deep enough. However, if you are unable to get a micro card to seat properly, you may have a defective tablet, or card.

    A clue!
i find that even as the permissions set as above, i still cant write to any SD card that is bigger then 4 gigs. I had a root file explorer, permissions as above, still wouldnt write. Popped out the 16, popped in a 4gig, I can write to it. !!!! So, maybe the SD card size matters? can somebody else check this?
    Thanks!

I have a 32 GB in my 10" and a 8 GB in my 7" and don't have any issues. Are yours formatted as FAT32 or exFAT?
