    Thrive Accessories

Just stopped by Best Buy today and noticed they already have some Thrive accessories on the shelves. The Portfolio case, screen protectors, and some silver replacement cases. The Portfolio case is actually fairly nice. Definitely has a very synthetic look and feel (as opposed to that genuine leather feel), but had a quality build (but very thick). The replacement cases had a real plastic look (I took one out of the package). The feel was OK, but I would say that most of the grip is from the diagonal pattern more than the actual surface texture.

    Anyway, for what its worth.
NCTurner, RKL, batfish and 1 others like this.

Cool, I'll have to go take a look at Best Buy and see if they have any Thrive accessories yet, I wan't to check out that case in person. Thanks!

Interesting. In a couple of videos with Toshiba reps they talked about the "rubberized surface" of the case. Sounds like it's just plastic ?

No, I wouldn't say just plastic. It definitely had a rubber feel to it, but not as much as I was expecting. It looks/feels like a very, very thing rubberized layer over the plastic.

It may feel a bit different when it is mounted, than when it is just loose.
