If this is the tablet you're talking about:
    http://www.droid-life.com/2013/05/02...-tegra-4-chip/

There is no current known way to root it.
It has a locked bootloader, so, if it's anything like its predecessor, when or if it can be rooted, there's not much chance of a custom recovery or ROM for it.
Best you may hope for is the use of root enabled apps and no more.

Our Devs, to my knowledge don't even have one to play with, but if you'd like to donate yours for experimentation.......

I won't say 'no possibility', but it's hard to try to do it when you don't have one.
Remember, we're not part of Toshiba in any way.
We're a group of users. We have to buy our own equipment.

Also depends on your reasons for rooting.
Like I said, it may eventually be possible to root, and just root.
No custom ROM, no custom recovery.
Just the ability to use apps requiring root access.
If that's all you want, maybe it's possible. If you want more, you've got the wrong tablet from the wrong manufacturer.

Might be a good opportunity for you....
Maybe YOU can figure out how to do it and report back to us.

Victory! We have been able to root the Toshiba Excite Pro (Toshiba AT10LE-A-108) with a Dirty Cow enabled KingoRoot.
Dumping recovery (SOS partition) was successful. Partitions info of this tablet and their names is available too. We managed to instal the Device Info HW app by Audrey Efremov and select the Info Center option to upload device information (components) to the database.
The next step was to find Toshiba Excite Pro clones for donor parts (needed for ROM development).

Asus Transformer Pad TF701T (KOOC), Asus Google Nexus 7 and HP SlateBook 10 x2 PC were the devices selected for donor parts.
Are you curious? Come an join us at the Xda forum. We need your help too!

Yuri, odds are you're a drive-by poster, but for you and anyone else watching: one post on this topic is enough. Good job, but please don't keep multi-posting, including in unrelated threads.
