    Dead thrive need help

The last few weeks my thrive was having a hard time starting up, I have to hold down the start button for about a minute and have to keep doing that several times. If I would keep it in sleep mode it would start right up. Then the last time I was using it the battery died on me before I could get it plugged in. Then the next time it would not start up. Ive tried removing the battery , no luck I tried using a different battery no luck . I e tried removing the little blue button battery no luck. I do see the amber light on when its plugged in which goes to white after its charged. My warrenty has expired and dont really want to get rid of this but paying over $200.00 just to get it looked at seems too expensive. Anyone have some suggestions.
    Thanks

    Stock or rooted?
By 'wouldn't start up' do you mean the screen stayed black kid, or it stopped at the splash screen?
If the latter, try doing a factory reset through recovery.
Try reseating the emmc module (a search here will turn that up)
You can also try a reflash (PM dalepl or Pio_Masaki).
It may just need a mother board....

Try the first two before panicking...

Reflash is something that they can do remotely, though your computer.
It can also help to diagnose if you're suffering from a hardware or software issue.
