    SD card problem

    Hi guys,
I have a HTC DHD when I got it, it had a 8GB samsung micro SD. Later I got the thrive and i bought another 8GB PNY micro SD with the big adoptor which can be used for the thrive.I didnt try to copy or past thing from the thrive to sd card or the opp. Yesterday I went to BB and I bought a 16GB PNY sd just like the other one. Any way hers the problem, I can copy files, pics, music from the sd card to the thrive but I cant moved something to the PNY SD cards only it gives me an error "cant copy 'file name' to this folder" using tge file manger, I also tried androzip I get the same error while the samsung SD card works perfectly coping and pasting both sides.
I formatted the PNY sd card to all formats ext fat I got the same results.
    Please help.

I am having trouble with my sd card, as well. I have a 32 Gb SDHC card, have copied 7 Gb of music to it as well as 1.8 Gb of pictures. On the software, the files show up but won't open: no music will play and the pics open with a micro thumb shot, their information, but won't open further. I probably shouldn't have put so much information on the card, but will be traveling and want to be able to use what I've added. Help would be appreciated.

I had unmounted and then mounted my card and all of a sudden it was acting as I had "locked" it, it was read only. I had to reboot (with the card in the slot) to get back my ability back to write to the card.

I havent been able to copy files to the sdcard that are more than maybe a couple megs. i get the same error as the origonal poster. i've formatted the card as fat32 and exfat with the same results. when i try to copy something, say from usb or internal storage to the sd, it creates a temp file and then the error shows. Nice to see i'm not the only one i suppose, but also frustrated with yet another thrive bug.

Anything approaching 2GB or more will need exFAT (which did allow me to copy a 3+ GB file).

    1. This is not a "Thrive bug" 2 people experiencing the issue does not make it a bug with the device. It is far more likely that it is a problem with the SD cards(PNY produces terrible chips/memory in my experience) If it happens with several different SD cards let us know.
