Nice to see i'm not the only one i suppose, but also frustrated with yet another thrive bug.

    same feeling then

There should be a small sliding ”switch” on the side of the card that locks it for write protection. See if it is in the lock position.

+1. Very easy to miss if you don't think about it. It's happened to me ALOT.

Turns out the thrive didn't like the sdcard I was using. It was an 8gb microSD class 2 in an adapter. I remembered I had a 16GB PNY in my digital camera and I can copy files at will now. What's weird is that my laptop and my desktop are both fine and dandy with copying to that 8gb card. So much for interoperability and standards I suppose. After seeing that it's probably not an accross the board bug with the thrive I ordered a 32gb card from newegg... fingers crossed that it works I suppose.

I bought SDXC 64Gb card. My thrive recognizes the SD card. Connected my thrive to the laptop via USB to copy some files to SD card. Windows recognized only internal memory of the Thrive AT100. SD card was not present in win7. USB debug is on.
Any suggestions how can I see SD card in thrive via Windows?

Go to my computer>AT100>Device Storge>sdcard-disk0 and that's your sd card

It has been said that they would "possibly" (no promises) update those things in a post SOD update. However, today's update made a big difference for many including myself. Not only did it fix things but it added value to the Tablet. If you have the time, you may wish to review the list of changes provided by Toshiba for today's update. There was a good deal more than just the SOD fix.
