    Disaster Has Struck!

Well folks, development on Favum has come to a hard and sudden stop. My Thrive fell off a table and landed flat onto some stuff on the floor and now the screen is broken. Not just the glass, but the touchscreen isn't working. This couldn't have come at a worse time either. We're tapped out on money due to some car repairs and other stuff. I've been working on an update, but at this point, I'm unable to continue until I can replace it, probably after Christmas. Many when it rains it pours!

After discussion with the wife, she agreed about putting "some" money towards a replacement. Unfortunately, the most she'll let me spend right now is $100. We really can't afford anything more. I might be able to convince her to go for $125 if there was one available for that price. If anyone knows of someone looking to get rid of their Thrive for fairly cheap, let me know. This just plain sucks.

OK, XM. Since you are really trying, I thought I would help you out. I just donated $50.00 towards your replacement. The people here are really great and I think others will also donate. Be sure to tell everyone when you have enough for a replacement device. Good luck and take care.

I bought my 32 gb Thrive on Craigslist here is Dallas 2 months ago for $200. I know there were only a few listed, but you might try looking there for a good deal. I would help, but I also had some finacial issues since I bought my tab and unable to help at this time. I might be able to get my wife to let me send a few $, but it won't be much. I do like what you do with your Roms. You should post of pic of the destruction with a caption of what not to do with your tablet.

Update: I was able to get my wife to send a few $. Sorry it wasn't much, but I hope it helps a little. I know how much work you guys put into these projects. It will come through paypal under her email address. Good luck.

Here is a list from craigslist from around the Baltimore Md Area...Not sure if these are anywhere near you though.

To moderators -- I hope this isn't against forum rules. If so please edit or let me know and I will edit it out.

    XM,
    Just donated another $50.00.
Let me know if you have received it.
Been done that road before and had friends come through and help me out.
