depends, in the visual aspect ICS is better, more "professional" while HB is... well i dont like it. one advantage of HB is that you can use flash... vey useful but i think that ICS is better.

Seems like you're in the best position to judge that....
Do a nandroid backup, backup any media, documents etc, use TB or your favorite to backup all apps/data, flash the ROM of your choice, and give it a good workout.
You can always restore your previous backup.
That's one of the best reasons to root; you get to play....

Been running honeybaked v1.3 for numerous months... installed rooted ics, it worked fine, but could not play gameloft games with the tobacer hack -so i switched back to honeybaked because i like my gameloft games i paid for. Honeybaked has worked well for me. Though it's not perfect, it does work very well and is overall pretty stable for me. I just installed honeybaked on 3 more thrives last friday for my boys - now they are loving it and playing gameloft stuff too.

Test the ICS ROMs out. Only you can decide which is best for you and your Thrive.

Of course, flashing 2 or more ROMs is automatic membership here: https://www.facebook.com/FlashaholicsAnonymous

Thanks for the idea, just asking to see people opinion before doing a unnecesary flashing process

I'm running ICS on my rooted Thrive. The battery life looks like it has improved, and I am able to connect my portable hard drive without having to format it. I could not connect it with the Honeycomb OS.
