Yes I managed to backup and restore my at100 with black bean. I'm wondering if it has compatibility issues with black bean ROM.

The flashable zip was made for a specific rom. It only works on the original rom it was intended for. You can always edit the build prop manually. That's what I did originally till dalepl made us the zip. I think it was for a stock ics rom.

I tried editing manually as well but when I reboot, It gets stock on the boot up screen again. I'm not sure if the boot up time would take longer than it should after applying the changes. Are there any other alternatives to this?

I wonder if anyone with a AT100 on Black bean is experiencing this as well.

    What changes did you make?
The build.prop for JB may be different.
Best advise is to make only one change at a time, then reboot.
That'll show the entry that's causing problems.

Mind reporting which line caused the problem?

for a noob like me, the initial problem was that I replaced the whole build which makes it obvious why it didn't boot up in the first place. So as advised, doing it manually, one change after another, I didn't experience the problem anymore. Basically it is clear that the flashable zip only works with a particular rom and not for Black Bean rom so doing it manually was the only way.

I don't know how to make a flashable zip, but I could share my build.prop and someone could make it into a flashable zip for black bean rom users (don't know if this would work for all BBrom users) or just simply copy the changes made on it which was shared on the first page of this thread.

I missed this somehow but yes flashing that build.prop to ANY rom besides it's intended ROM will break that rom. I can probably do a more universal method for you guys though.
