Hi, Thanks for this tutorial. I followed instructions, and after I was told "congrats..." , I installed Terminal Emulator, typed in "su", enter, then I got "permission denied" --- does that mean root is actually failed? 'coz some of apps which need root still don't work. Then I tried to do the flashing again with SDCARD method this time, but I got "signature verification failed". Any idea?

So you have super user installed? Need it to give su access.

Thanks for the reply. I missed that step, since I have trouble visiting youtube these days. Just now I followed "[TOOL] [ROOT] Thrive Root - No PC V2",went through all steps, but seems partially successful --- some apps say my root is not whole, especially screen capture apps. Anyway, I'll stay and look for a while.

Make sure you have the latest updated binaries for Super User.
Found my signature file, but it appears to be empty...
