This will install the USB ADB Drivers on your computer which are required to root/install clockwork or provide ADB access in general.
Instructions:
1. Download, unzip and install the extracted .EXE
2. Enable USB Debugging on your Thrive under Settings>Applications>Development>USB debugging
3. Plug in your Thrive and windows will start to install your device.
Be sure and click "install this driver software anyway" if during installation you see this message:
Current Ver. 1.3 Download:
USB ADB Driver for Windows 7/Vista/XP x64 & x86
-Mirror1
Thanks to Bilgediver for the how-to video:
Change log:
v1.1 (11/28/2011) :
On win7/vista Driver I replaced "Android" with "Thrive" It will now say,"Thrive Composite ADB Interface" instead of "Android Composite ADB Interface". Removed both links for Win7/Vista and added a single link for Vista/Win7 which will check for x64 or x86 OS and install the appropriate driver.
v1.2 (12/11/2011):
Added Multi Language support to both XP and Win7/Vista Driver packages.
v1.3 (5/20/2012):
Combined XP and Win7/Vista into one download which will also check the OS for x64 and x86 as in previous versions
No longer requires to be "run as administrator" and will no longer show that annoying "requires elevation" message when using windows 7/vista.
Replaced Installation package "watermark" image with something a little more Toshiba Thrive related
Thanks goes out to dalepl for supplying the USB ADB drivers used to create this installation package.
