So far as I know, once you're rooted, the OTA updates will download but will fail to install.

Isn't clockwork mod installed automatically with dalepl's easy root tool?

AFAIK, dalepl's hmj37.01.5.0032 ROM is the only one that will return a 10.1" Thrive to totally stock, including unrooting it with the original recovery. Once that is done, you should be able to install the OTA for the official ICS release, but you may also have to install one or more HoneyComb updates to get there. You will also wind up with a totally stock version of ICS and may have to wait for an exploit to be found before it can be rooted.
We won't know how Toshiba is handling the migration path(s) to ICS until they release the OTA update.

Be advised: If you do update to ICS, you will not be able to use flash.

I tried to find a thread for my post but couldn't and so I'm just attaching to this... I've got a Thrive 7 and was thrilled to accidentally discover the ICS update on Monday even if it did say Thrive 10... I tried to install it and about an hour into the download/setup it failed with no particular reason. I'm assuming it's because it was intended for the 10". In a perfect world I would think it wouldn't matter, but apparently it does. Why is it offering me a 10" download thru service station, or more importantly where/when is the 7" going to be available? Thanks
