Working Apps Listed As Incompatible w/Thrive

Here are some apps that are being used without problems even though they are listed as incompatible with the Thrive in the Google Play Store. If you can locate the APK file, they can be side-loaded. I will update this list as users post changes. Use At Own Risk.

    Craigslist Mobile
    ESPN Goals
    ITV Player
Modern Combat 3 (needs build.prop hacks)
NFL Pro 2012 HD (needs build.prop hacks)
Redstone Federal Credit Union Mobile Banking
    Smurf's Village

Note: For information on build.prop hacks, see this thread:

ESPN Goals & ITV Player. Both work without issue so far.

These are not for US, right? Are you saying they work anyway?

They're supposed to be for the UK (I suppose ESPN could be US too?) but neither are available on the Play Store. Sideloading them works without issues.

With Play Store, you will not see apps that are not compatible with you device, they are pre-filtered out by default. The only easy you can even see the apps is to search the Play Store web site.
Found my signature file, but it appears to be empty...

Not that I know of. The best you will find are individual threads for apps people are having trouble with or asking about. The trouble there seems to be that while some have problems, others don't, so it's not easy tracking what really doesn't work in general, but should. I'd be happy to start/maintain such a list, excluding apps that are intentionally designed for phones only, of course.

I think that is a big drawback to the Store. Why not list the app as incompatible, just like the main site does, so people can have a one-stop shopping experience?

I have Modern Combat 3 and NFL Pro 2012 HD working on my thrive, but I had to do a little hacking with the build.prop. Still, they do function fine.
