You reply fast, even on Sunday's. Thank you. I will try the app. Have any of you used Flex T9 and if so could I get some feedback?

I love the Flex T9 . It's a keyboard, not an app, per se. It does handwrite to text, but it only recognizes printing. Certain letters have to be written just so (like a small "i" and small "t")
Age is only a number and I lost count.

    FlexT9 Speak-Trace-Write-Tap

Can you give us a review of this app running on your Toshiba, if you did give it a try? The reviews on the android marketplace are all over the scale, none seem to be mentioned from Thrive users.

I've used handwriting recognition software from the same developers that was bundled on some Compaq and Toshiba WinCE PDAs. Of course, those were stylus input screens unlike today's tablets. It handled my cursive writing very well for over ten years, though I did have to improve on my handwriting style for the best performance.

As the voice recognition needs to have a connection to the cloud servers that power the engine I suspect that you need to be sure that you have clear, fast broadband connectivity to get best results. How has it worked for Thrive users? Particularly through a tethered 3G ISP.

I tried unsuccessfully to install this in July when I first bought my AT100 with Android ver 3.01. With Toshiba Australia making ver 3.1 available next week OTA, I'm re-evaluating apps that wouldn't install from the marketplace on my version of the Thrive.
