    Deleting google talk from thrive

Since the factory reset Google talk won't authenticate because it doesn't exist. So how can I get rid of GoogleTalk and download Hangouts (which is the new latest version). This the reason I can't download any apps on my tablet.

Talk is likely a protected system app, so if you want to remove it, you'll need to root your Thrive (resets all factory data but you've done that recently) and use an app like System App remover.

You should be able to install Hangouts straight from the Play Store. If you're still having issues with installing apps, I'd suggest deleting your Google account off your Thrive, then creating it again.
