Cool Hulu and HBO GO on my Thrive

HULU AND HBO GO WORKING ON MY THRIVE!!
    USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
I found the hack to Adobe Flash that allows you to watch Hulu and HBO GO in your browser. I did not make this hack, and of course you have to change the user anget to desktop in your browser which is easy to do. The best results is to use Dolphin Pad from the market to watch Hulu or HBO GO. You don't need a log in for Hulu to watch TV-MA content using Dolphin. It is a little bit slow to load than the Netflix app but it maybe my router.

Again Try at Your Own Risk. I Take No Responsibility for what you do to your Thrive.
    You Must Be Rooted
    1. Down load this file to your Thrive(Adobe Flash Hacked For Honeycomb): MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
    2. Use Titanium Backup to uninstall your current Adobe Flash, don't worry it's in the market place if you want to reinstall.
    3. REBOOT YOUR THRIVE!!! (You must do this in order for it to work)
    4. Use the stock File Manager open the download folder, find the file you downloaded " com.adobe.flashplayer " press it and install. If it says something about replacing another application then you did not uninstall the previous flash player and it will not work.
    5. Now to test it out, open your stock browser change the user agent by typing about:debug in the address bar and hit enter. Select the settings from the menu icon top right corner of the browser. Select debug, then UAString, then desktop. Hit the back arrow top left. GO TO HULU.COM OR HBO GO AND TRY IT OUT HAVE FUN!!!!
    6. It's way easier to use Dolphin Pad or HD. This way if you reboot your Thrive for any reason you don't have to do the whole debug thing again.

Im' working on Hulu Plus right now should have results soon......

So, it would appear that this APK will prevent any "Adobe Flash Player" market updates from showing up due to the "99.9.999.99" version string? Merely replacing the libflashplayer.so file in the /system/lib/plugins/com.adobe.flashplayer/ doesn't work on a rooted Thrive? Hacking the APK is one way to do it and hacking the lib file is another. I did this to my phone and it lets me use the latest market APK / update while still allowing Hulu to work. I removed all write permissions to the libflashplayer.so file and when it updates, it just seems to skip over that file but still updates. Maybe the same applies to the Thrive? I've not rooted yet so I can't test this myself. If anyone can't find the hacked lib and would like me to attach it, I can.

Attach it for me, I'd rather that than this. I also want to look inside to see what makes it play.

Vgeezy, do you have to make the same changes in Dolphin as you do in the standard browser? I never use the standard browser.

I'd assume all you have to do is change the UA to Desktop.

Do you have Dolphin HD with the desktop plugin installed, if so you just have to enable desktop once and thats it. Even if you restart your Thrive that option stays the same. Dolphin pad come with the plugin already installed.
