    Moving apps to the SD card

    Hi this may have been asked before, is there a way to move your apps to sd? I have root. Thanks

    It has been asked before but doesn't mean you won't get the answer you are looking here.

    Moving apps to SD card is a function of the APP, not the OS. Honeycomb file structure is different. Most apps although do work are not written for Honeycomb. These apps have no clue where /storage/sdcard-disk0/ is or /storage/usb/... until these apps are updated, you won't be able to move them.

    Yes, it has been asked before and at the moment, no you cannot move your apps to SD even with root. The function to move an app to SD is a function built into the app or facilitated by another app like app2SD. Honeycomb changed the mount point of the SD card so this function does not work. The devs have to fix thier apps to make this work, but it may be a function they do not worry about until ICS comes out and unifies the OS for phones and tablets. That way, all they have to do is port one time.

    No. I am having fun. The pain is getting ADB and fastboot working on other peoples systems.
