    Home Made Thrive Case

    Hey Guys and Gals,
I created a home made case from an old portfolio bag that I had in the closet. I travel in a vehicle daily and I am in and out of different locations so I wanted something to protect the Thrive and also give me the ability to carry misc. paperwork, etc. I removed the pad of paper and found some hard styrofoam board at a local hobby store. I cut a piece of the styrofoam with a sharp knife and glued it to the case with Liquid Nails after cutting a hole for the Thrive. The case is not professional by any means but it protects the Thrive while I travel and it also does not look like your normal "tablet case" so it protects it against theft to a certain degree. Comments welcome....

Great stuff. I am also thinking about building my own case because her in europe it is very difficult to get a proper case for the thrive.

I use a foldover case. No carry handle though. I will be adding 2 thin pieces of styrofoam board like like "countryside306" used. Smarter, safer.
