I have the portfolio and 360 cases. My review, brief and to the point.

I have been using the portfolio case since I got the thrive and love it. Endless angles and great protection.

Now I just got the 360 case today from Amazon. I have to say there is less protection and only a few usable angles. The only reason I got it was because of the price and for use when i am doing video chat. Well,I more got it because it was cheap.

So all in all I'd say the portfolio case is the better buy,in my opinion of course.

What say the rest of you?

Thanks for the review, I too was considering getting the 360 case because of the price but after looking on the user submitted photos on amazon I didn't like the way the ridges rest on the screen when closed and creates those gaps.

The ridges on the 360 portfolio actually have some give to them, so they act alot like a cushion. I know when I dropped mine, it protected the Thrive inside.

I almost always use the TT in landscape, so the Portfolio case is perfect for me. I took my first "road trip" with it last week and took some pictures with the case on and it was great. I've never had a camera with a 10.1" viewfinder before. It sure makes it easier to see how good a picture you've gotten.

    Mark,

Can you explain where you can only have only limited angles in the 360 portfolio case? I can put mine in portrait and landscape using the ridges without any issiues at all and it shows perfectly.

You can only place the tablet in the ridges, portrait mode or not the portfolio case has more adjustment availability. Like I said,I own both and tried them both. If it works for you great,I just like the portfolio case better.

I use the portfolio and I think it's great. One suggestion though, a small pocket for SD cards would be nice.

I like the portfolio case. I can't think of a need to prop it up in portrait orientation.
