    Just a heads up; Bobj posted a YouTube video.... It's a drop test, admittedly not using a Thrive (ASUS TF300), but those of us owning his case won't be too surprised at the results...

    Thanks Dan. I'd never seen that one before, but I experienced it in real life, when my Thrive fell onto a wooden floor from the top of a high dresser/chest.
    Did you see when the corner of the tablet impacted the floor? I remember Bilge Diver's video showing what happened to the screen when his Thrive fell out of his backpack and landed on it's corner. Shattered. And that was in the Toshiba portfolio case. Didn't protect it at all. Wouldn't have happened if it had been in the BobJ case.

    Yep.
    I just saw the video today...
    That corner strike had me holding my breath (especially when it bounced from the more forgiving plywood to the concrete), along with the drop from 5'.

    He really should consider a run of, maybe, just the Black, or another neutral color, due to all of the refurb sales now, like a second wave.....
    There's nothing out there that compares, even for 2X the price.....

    Hey Guys,
    I email Bobj and got this reply;

    "Hi James,

    Do you have a need for a small batch of Bobj® Cases for Thrive? Because Thrive is discontinued, we stopped making them, and we sold out. We are reconsidering making a small batch in Blue and Black, and we would add your order to our production run. Bobj® Cases for Thrive are $26.99 plus shipping.

    Please let us know the number of cases of each color you wish to order.

    Regards,
    Bobj"

    Maybe we can get together an idea of those who would like to get this case. All interested please reply by friday and I'll submit the order okay.

    You know, I would probably take one, too... Wonder how many people he needs to make that small production run? Does Bobj watch the forums him/themselves anymore?

    He does check in, but I don't know how often. I do know he is very busy with BobJ Gear and his other ventures.

    Cheers, Dave
