Nice find. This is probably my favorite feature of the Thrive-- Buy the dirt-cheap (relatively) 8GB Thrive and then get as much expanded space as you want via the SD slot or external HDs with no larger than 1TB partitions.

    Such an economical tablet.

Good find. However, beware that not all SD cards are created equal even when supposedly "class 10". I found this out the hard way. Since then, I trust only SanDisk. I never did exactly figure out how a class 4 beat that class 10.

Good luck getting it before the end of the year. Meritline shipping is as fast as bird migration.

    That's absurd.

    Birds migrate much faster.

I bought a transcend 64gig SDXC card and two days later, it was at my doorstep. So far, performance on it is exceptional. 32gig Thrive and a 64gig SDXC card. I am as happy as a pig in a mudpile...... Georgia boy here.

From my own experience, anything you order from Meritline gets delivered about a month later.

Transcend has been my sd card of choice for years now. They perform well and are priced right. I give them quite a work out in my Pentax dslr's. But really the only cards I've had give me trouble were sandisc and pny. Thank you to the op for the heads up on the sd deal.

oh yeah definitely; especially PNY, geez..

thanks OP, price went up $2 though. Still a great deal for 32gb. Really interested if someone can do a speed test on it to see if it is a legitimate class 10
