Not hacking, so much as a few careful cuts with a sharp blade.
The video (on YouTube, I'm pretty sure) is fairly easy to follow...it's really not too difficult.

I presume you're referencing the 4 part videos by Bob?

I guess--last time I saw it, it was only 1 part, but that seems to be it.

Received my case today. I really like it. I think I'm not going to cut it and just take it out when I install it on the cradle. The only time I plan on using the case is when I leave home with the tablet anyway. Thanks for a great accessory!

That's what I do...take it out if I want to use the dock. I have more than one BobjGear case, but the thought of taking a razor knife to one of those beautiful things just makes me go

I already have three of these cases for my two Thrives, and I love them, so I just went to Amazon to get one for my Nexus7. Then I decided I needed another color for the Thrives as well.

Some of the colors are sold out now, and the others are very low in stock These cases are wonderful. I've found nothing else that offers anywhere near the same level of protection. So if anyone has been thinking of getting one for your Thrive, better do it now, or they'll be gone...

I LOVE LOVE these cases. I had originally posted in this forum looking for a rugged case like these, but they were no longer manufactured. BobjGear e-mailed me letting me know they would be on Amazon within a few days time. I purchased one for each of my kids' tablets!! It has definitely saved my 7yr olds from further damage... She is quite prone to dropping things, and the edges of her tablet were already chipped. I now no longer have to worry about her dropping it.. (from short distances, she is only 3'5 LOL)
