If you would like me to try to get a 3G version going for you, or even a 3G version of Favum maybe, send me a PM and I'll let you know what I'll need to try to do it when I have some time.

    Again...thank you very much Pio.....
    NB:
I already flashed with this one Thrive HTK55D.23.5.0002 3G Full Stock ROM I will try again with yours and your new boot.img that support 3G.
Also I wonder if there is any ICS or JB for this kind of tablet?

I took the very first one, gpu 400-340. Wiped cache/dalvik before installing. Didn't have any problems/glitches; all is well!

    @graine247,
Just curious. Which of the two kernels did you take?
Maybe I need to toss a coin.
Before or after flashing, just before rebooting into android. Cache isn't written to unlike /system and /data in a ROM flash so it can be wiped either before or after with no issues.

I'm waiting on Toshiba to send me the correct kernel source for ICS before I can work with ICS or JB. Its been a year they've kept me waiting for correct source which is why there is no ICS or JB from me yet, unless someone knows where there's a repo of the correct kernel source someplace.

The source is needed to build the kernel, its what's compiled to have the ROM that you run, so in short no, an updated device doesn't help concerning what's needed to build the kernel.

Consider the source the alphabet and those letters make up the sentences you read, without the alphabet letters you have no sentences, or finished kernel.

I took this one: kernel-hc-gpu-oc-400-320-AT1S0.zip for variety, since graine247 took the 400-340 version. That way Pio can get feedback on both.
Everything so far seems to be just fine, but I don't know what to look for, so any suggestions are most welcome.
Great instructions. I cleared the caches before and after.
The hardest part was deciding which version to take and pushing that itty-bitty card in. Baby Thrive always spits it out back at me.
    Thank you, Pio.

Two weeks later, I just installed kernel-hc-gpu-400-340-sysoc-AT1S0.zip
    Pio dear,
I have a problem. The installation message said 400-320.see picture I took of the CWM screen.
And Thrive's About says the same Kernel version 2.6.36.3 as it did when I installed 400-320.
I then compared the files. They are different, have different CRC and MD5 and all that.
So what kernel is my Baby Thrive running now?
Is there a way I can test?

Ok I forgot to update the script to show the different speeds, I'll adjust that when I have some extra time, got busy with life and other stuff again. It won't show the full build name in HC so while it's actually named Baby-Balthesaur-whatever the zip has in the name, it doesn't show it, I'm not sure there is a way to even check it, there may be CPU OC apps that may show it, like trickster, I haven't tried.

In the end, go by the zip file name, those are correct.
