    Unhappy Facebook videos not playing

    Hello,
    I have a Toshiba Excite 10SE (300SE)
    Updated to the latest firmware.


    When Facebook started to play videos inside, they do not play anymore.
    any videos run fine on the tablet, also YouTube, it's just Facebook videos that play internally.

    PS: -Facebook's Autoplay does work, weird that the video playback itself doesn't
    -Also when I click a video to play, i can move through the video by dragging the position bar, but it won't play.
    - Tried factory reset twice already.

    Does anyone know why or how to fix this?

    Tried that already twice, but it turned out that facebook cares about this tablet as much as toshiba does

    Im using the app, and it has been updated 10s of times since this first happened, but its the same.

    Apparently not just Toshiba devices effected.

    Then you may need to just use a browser or MXplayer.
    Might try to find an older version of the app that worked, then don't allow updates.

    I was just wondering if this issue was ever solved, as I have recently purchased the same tablet and am facing an identical problem within the Facebook application. Thank you in advance

    If the latest version of the app didn't cure it, no. They're not going to tailor the app to an aging OS on an even more aged device.
    Use the browser for best effect. 👌👌

    You are right, they won't bother, but I thought maybe one of the guys here knew some kind of a fix for this.
