I noticed the same thing as ttuser. When starting new songs on google play it will be super loud or when changing any of the settings in the manager but you can press the volumn button and it will revert back to normal sound. I think I have Srs enabled currently, not sure if that has an issue.

    running honeybaked v 1.2

I can't get it to be consistantly mega loud so I'm not sure what the problem is on my end.

Unfortunately, this dsp manager does not have nearly the effect it does in my cyanogen mod phone. It will not get to the lower frequencies of the bass so bass still sounds muddy and hollow. Does the thrive just have crappy audio that no amount of software can correct? I have matched the settings on both dsp manager on my phone and this one on the thrive and my phone still sounds much much better. I made sure all the toshiba audio enhancements are off as well as those have always made the audio sound even more awefull. Oh well, I think I'll go over to Honeybaked soon and test more on that rom.

The quest still continues for amazing audio on the thrive

You can also purchase root toolbox and use the install dsp manager option.

IIRC Goo was down for a bit and may have lost a number of files.

IIRC, this is a manual installation that requires rooting.
