    About to reflash my Thrive

Hello folks! I just joined a few days ago because my beloved old Thrive no longer boots up and hangs at the fireworks screen. Re-seated the batteries - no good. Bit the bullet and did a factory reset - no good. As soon as I can scrounge up the USB cable, I'm going to attempt to reflash. My technical skills are "meh" at best, so crossing my fingers....

Hmm. Not entirely sure of the cause, but if your system was hanging prior to reflashing, it's possible there's an issue with the eMMC storage. Have a search around the forum for checking and reseating the internal eMMC connector. That might help.
