Talking Hello, I am new to this forum, although I have owned my Thrive since May 2012

Sorry for the edit. Among the many grievances I have with my Thrive is that the keyboard jams up, closes or won't pop up when I need it to.
    My model number: AT105/16GB
    Android version 4.0.4.01.000072314
    Application Version: 1.1.16
Other problems I have include frequent crashes. I constantly receive messages that my browser, the launcher, or an application has stopped working and needs to close.
The device takes forever to shut down and boot. Overall, it is just extremely buggy and slow. I have uninstalled apps and reset the device to no avail.
I must mention that it has ALWAYS been this way. From DAY ONE. I am pleased to have dicovered this forum and hope that you will be ablento help me.
    Thank you

Thank you. It looks like that's what I will have to do. It has me absolutely aggravated at this point.
    I appreciate the suggestion.

I fully support flashing dalepl's cleaned-up ICS ROM. A big problem after upgrading to Toshiba's stock ICS was the keyboard becoming so slow.
