    Connection Error

I purchased a new Netgear 7550 router and my tablet shows I am connected, but my online apps say "A connection error has occurred". Try again in a place with a better signal." The tablet is 2 feet from the router!! I cannot open my email either. The router works fine with my computer and printer....any suggestions?

Hi, Stampnut, and welcome to Thrive Forums
With connection issues we usually suggest toggling wifi off, then back on, or 'forgetting' the connection, and then re-establishing it again.
Even though the router is new, and other devices connect well, often a router reboot will solve connection issues with the Thrive.
If none of those suggestions help, others will be along with additional suggestions, but that gives you something to start with.

Thank you for your suggestion. I finally got it to connect, I removed the wi-fi connection and re-entered the SSID and the Connection Key, all is well.

You're welcome. Great! That's often all it takes.
